My new product of the week is the L’Oreal Paris La Vie En Rose lipstick collection!
You would normally associate red or plum shades with Autumn/Winter however not everyone suits these colours. I think pinks are actually far more flattering and easier to wear.
So here’s my guide to picking the perfect pink for you! I warn you it’s tricky as they’re all delicious.
Eva’s shade is a deep pink which would work well as part of an evening look.
Blake’s shade is a vibrant orangey pink that is a strong statement colour.
Naomi’s pick is a sophisticated nude pink.
Helen’s colour is a subtle, ‘barely there’ iridescent pink.
My favourite is … Naomi’s as I prefer neutral colours that can be worn in both the day or evening however Helen’s is gorgeous and Christamassy with it’s shimmering effect.
Colour Riche Lipsticks have been around for 30 years however there’s no sign of them showing their age. The brand new formula in the L’Oreal Paris La Vie En Rose lipstick collection uses velvety pigments plus mother of pearl to create a velvet-matte texture and they also have great staying power.
I always used to stick to gloss as my lips tend to be quite dry but as long as I exfoliate and apply lip balm first I find that these glide on easily. I love the fact that lipsticks need to be applied far less regularly than glosses and there’s no need to worry about stickiness.
The black and gold packaging makes them look far more expensive than their €11.99 price tag and the satisfying click you get when you close the lid means there’s no risk of destroying the lining of your handbag. (The only thing you need to worry about is keeping them away from little hands that want to use them for colouring in!)
