Touche Eclat Le Teint is my new product of the week!
The Touche Eclat concealer pen is already one of my CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT products so when I found out that there was a foundation that could wake up my whole complexion I was excited to find out more!
While the first version of Touche Eclat Le Teint was available in 2012, this new formula (available from Feb 16) promises to give skin a soft radiance without any shine. After all it’s a glowing complexion that we want, not a greasy one.
There is no sparkle and no shimmer it simply catches the light in a completely subtle way. The coverage is medium and translucent and this means that it feels weightless on the skin. I find that with some foundations I’m desperate to take them off by 5pm but this feels really comfortable. It also has added benefits; Vitamin E to protect from free radicals and Ruscus Extract to soothe.
Touche Eclat Le Teint is available in an impressive 22 tones and I find that B10 (Porcelain) suits me well, although I’ll probably choose a slightly darker one for the Summer.
Everyone seems to be talking about makeup applicators at the moment from blenders to brushes however YSL have come up with something completely new. The Y-brush has a small reservoir in which Touche Eclat Le Teint can be dispensed and then applied to the skin. The brush is also much sturdier than the norm which enables you to use a circular, buffing motion to apply the foundation evenly.
I applied 2 drops to the brush initially and then a further two to finish the remainder of my face and to add extra coverage to areas that needed it. I definitely preferred the massaging motion to the usual ‘painting’ one and I loved the fact that you didn’t need to get product on your hands at all.
Here’s a peek at how the Porcelain shade looks on my skin:
So, are you tempted?
Touche Eclat Le Teint and the Y-Shape brush each have an RRP of €42.
