Mothercare’s Spring Summer Collection was launched in Dublin yesterday and E and I went along to check out the range. After getting his shoes last weekend it was time to sort out his Summer wardrobe!
There were lots of yummy goodies on offer and E enjoyed a couple of fresh fruit lollipops and some crunchy breadsticks before running off to play in the car shaped ball pool. With him occupied taking his little friend for a drive I got a chance to look through all the gorgeous kids clothes.
There’s something for all tastes from pastel pinks and turquoise to bright blue and yellow.
I particularly loved the seaside theme and this boat print t-shirt would look really smart on E with a pair of navy shorts. Definitely going to pick this up for our holiday.
Another item that caught my eye was this smart blue hooded mac; very important for Irish Summers 😉 We got a red one last year and got loads of use out of it.
The really exciting news is that Mothercare has revealed a collaboration with British fashion designer Julien McDonald! The ‘Smile’ range is for children aged 0-2 years and while the daywear collection features animal and cool character prints (moodboard below), the party wear collection (main photo) is premium and highly detailed. It’s available from Mothercare Stephen’s Green and online from 20th April.
It was time for us to make a move and E was absolutely delighted with the gorgeous goodie bag he was given that included play dough, bubbles, chunky colouring pens and coloured card. Thank you Mothercare for a lovely morning!
